Clubs where a visitor can sit down 14

Every club on this list says on its own pages that a visitor may come to a club evening, and a few say that anyone at all may. The Skaksalon at Falkoner Allé on Frederiksberg is the easiest door: its afternoon salon needs no registration, and a visit carries a small published charge with lower rates for students, pensioners and tourists. Brøndby Skakklub describes its Monday evenings at the Møllehuset as open to everyone.

The others state that guests are welcome at their club nights: Amager Skakforening invites everyone to look in, and Nørrebro, ØBRO, Valby, Frederiksberg Skakforening, Damhus, Caïssa Gladsaxe, Odysseus, Gentofte, Furesø and Ishøj say the same. Amager also gives new juniors free trial evenings before membership.
